La Corda of My Life

Did you ever read a manga entitled La Corda D'Oro ??

It's a story of a girl name Hino Kahoko a student of General Education of Seiso Academy that knows nothing about playing music. One day she meets a music fairy named Lili who gives her a magical violin which everyone can play as long as as long as they know the tune and play it with heart.

So, she manages to join the prominent musical competition, that so far only the very best students of Music  School had been chosen for joining. They doubt Hino because she's not from the Music School . But thanks to the magical violin she can handle it, she can prove to them that she can play it well or even better from another contestant.

Not because those handsome boys of Music School finally fall in love with her, but...

let me tell you my story...

It's really like i was there too. Seiso Academy, Music School. Surrounded by a lot of people like those in the comic. All instrument that they touch became a stunning music that nobody will get bored of hearing.
I was there, almost like Hino Kahoko, maybe better because i  have very little background of music.  But, somehow i believed myself for joining the competition with them.

And they doubt me. I wish i could make it happen, but i have no Lili nor magical violin that could make me suddenly become a talented player.
So, there i was. Just make myself looked very pathetic around.

And,

they kicked me out...
Well, that's predictable, but that's still got me very depressed and even thought of quit everything about music.

But then, i thought it once again.

If i quit here i will get nothing besides rotten guitar in the corner of my room.
I know i have to keep practicing, until one day i found my own magical guitar which i can play as long as i know the song and play it with my heart.

Hoping for that day to come...


i will always playing, at least for my own self to hear...

The Most Difficult Things I Was Trying to Plant

I had just rearranged my messy files in my laptop and i found some pictures of precious moments in last semester. These are ones :

After i showed up the pics to a person, ussualy conversation went like this :
That person : What is it?
Me : It's Candida albicans.
TP : What is it?
M : It's a species of "fungi".
TP : errr.., what??
M : (sigh) It's a tiny mushroom.

But,
What's important is : It's the first microbial which i planted that growth in proper.
Yeah, i told you it's really not easy to grow such thing that made my report very miserably.

UGGHHHH !! But that's microbiology, a laboratory where you can plant something really different than rose or lily.

Maybe It's a bit late to write another post about Halloween ...

But, i really want to share this once in a year events.

First time i came in, everything looked usual until our hands suddenly lifted up, eyes closed, and mouth opened... daangggg, it's a Zombie Party...

Merapi's Chronicles

Since it's been my third post about Mount Merapi's effects through my life, i will give an additional title Merapi Chronicles for all my post related to it.

And.., what i want to write here is, besides all the ashes, gloomy days, worriedness, i got sms last friday that made my heart jump to the sky :

So,
i'd moved away from that mountain right now that i can't give a direct report from closer place.
Just pray and hope that everything will get better very soon.

I don't want to be something to worried about (Merapi's Chronicles)

I can't count how many call and sms coming to ask if i'm alright. I'm very appreciate all your concern, but i'm not the type that like to be worried about or i don't like if any people worried about me...

It's so annoying for knowing that you're being a burden in someone's head.

But now, yes, they're worried about me. It's all because Mount Merapi that had been erupted for more that a week and this evening's eruption was the biggest (according to mass media). And I am staying in the one of the nearest town from that mountain.

Huhh !!
I don't want anybody worried about me, but, while i'm writing this, i started to worried about myself.

Better set up my emergency-flee bag ...

Trick or Treat ..

There's no Halloween tradition in my place, so it's just another day without any spooky pumpkins, ghostly costumes, chocolate or candy, etc etc.

But,
I know i still have one place where i can celebrate Halloween with everyone.
Pet Society !! Yay !




so, Halloween theme for this year is VAMPIRE (everyone surely are being addicted with vampire things nowdays).

The first is costume :

There are still many Halloween costumes, but i prefer the vampire one, because... Rose in the hat, Rose in the suits, maybe that's too cute for vampire, but i looove it  =3 ..

And the next is decoration :

It's not a new room, i just added some new items in this room.
And how it looks like in the dark :

I think it's a mix between twilight and harry potter effect. Because i want to make a creepy yet romantic room with some candles and piano, but in the right side, there are many magic books and chemical things that very identical with, yeah, wizard (or witch).

And the rest, i think it's too cute for Halloween =3 , but it's really doesn't matter. Love that moved-around-cute-ghosts, but i'm really hope i could have Sadako or Ju-on in my room next Halloween.

It's snowing !? Nope, It's ASH-ing (Merapi's Chronicles)

A phone call from my parents awoke me this morning. They asked me to look outside, and you now what i got? ALL COVERED IN WHITE !! (ummm, it's white-gray)

The next things i hope was neighbor's kids would run and yell "It's snowing!!" like the scene in many movies.

...
But, what's in movie will stay in movie. It's not snowing here, it's RAINING ASH ..

This is the second time i got my day with this white-grayish things. The first one was really a long time ago. It's all because the Mount Merapi that became very active since last week. And last midnight it had erupted again, seemed it was the bigger than the previous eruptions.

And that was giving a dramatic effect to my dorm, it's suddenly crowded with parents that came from different towns who's worried with their children. My own parents? My dad kept calling me from two o'clock in the morning (and i had just answered around six, sorry dad :( ). I told them i will be fine, it's unnecessary to come here, and oh, it's just ashes! You should coming here if it's raining money ^o^ ...

Dan Spanyol pun menjadi juara (lagi)...

Dan akhirnya piala itu bergulir dari satu tangan ke tangan lain para pemain spanyol. Tiga tahun terakhir memang jadi sejarah yang indah bagi kesebelasan La Furia Roja itu, setelah menjuarai Euro 2008 kemarin, spanyol pun kembali berjaya pada Piala Dunia 2010.

Spanyol menarik perhatianku semenjak Euro kemarin, walaupun sampai final sebagian besar orang (di Indonesia) lebih mendukung Jerman. Ternyata kharisma Spanyol tidak hilang sepanjang Piala Dunia 2010, meskipun kalah pada pertandingan pertamanya. Hal ini yang membuatku merasa bahwa mereka akan jadi juara lagi, meskipun di atas kertas Belanda lebih unggul.

Dewi Fortuna sepertinya sependapat denganku. Keberuntungan Spanyol secara tersirat tampat pada hasil petandingannya sepanjang babak knockout, melawan Portugal, Paraguay, dan Jerman. Hal ini pula yang paling kusuka dari Spanyol, mereka tetap mempertahankan cara bermainnya sampai akhir...

1-0, sudah cukup.

Dan walaupun David Villa masih menjadi pencetak gol andalan Spanyol, yang membuat gol penyelamat pada babak - babak terakhir justru bukan dia. Mereka benar - benar harus berterima kasih pada Puyol yang menyelamatkan Spanyol dari Jerman, dan Iniesta yang akhirnya membawa mereka ke puncak. Dan tentu saja yang tak kalah penting, kapten, pahlawan, pelindung gawang, peraih sarung tangan emas, siapa lagi kalau bukan Casillas.

Yep, selamat buat Spanyol. Piala Dunia 2010 milik kalian.

Shaman King Review ( i made this before the publishing of KangZengBang )

* i wrote this before i found and read the KangZengBang series, it's about four till five years ago... i want to share about the KangZengBang, but i suggest you to read this one first... :)  (some part i just copied from Wikipedia and other sources i had forgot.. :-/ )*

Shaman King is the second masterpiece of Hiroyuki Takei. It first published in 1998, and reached the outer Japan about early 2000. Shaman King is a manga ( Japanese for “comic” ) series that separated in 32 volumes. Shaman King also ever serialized in magazine Weekly Shonen Jump. Like all the Japanese popular manga there had been the anime creation of this manga that started in year 2001. But, the story, especially the ending between the manga and the anime is a little different, so I suggest you to read the original story from the manga.

The story is about a lazy slacking boy named Asakura Yoh who is a shaman ( the one who links this world and the other world ). He can use the ability of the spirit by makes himself posessed. With the help of his fiancée, Anna, Yoh is in training for the ultimate shaman sports event: the "Shaman Fight" the once-every-500-years tournament to see who can shape humanity's future and become the Shaman King. But unfortunately for Yoh, every shaman in the world is competing for the same prize. In passing all challenge he is accompanied with his best friend Manta, an ordinary high school boy, whose life was changing since his meeting with Yoh. Firstly, Yoh just had to fight against his enemy. But, line after, he also had to fight against his friends that have the same dream as him, because the Shaman King is one person only. The culminating-point is when Yoh had to face his twin-brother who has a very powerful spirit.

Though, Yoh is the main character, the story is being told by Manta’s side. That is one of many unique points of this comic. Hiroyuki Takei made it in a simple plot of draw, so the readers can easily understand this full of imaginations story. Actually, this manga has variety genre, action, adventure, comedy, romance, supernatural, and many else. It’s because of the unpredictable story.  In one book you can read it with laughter, in other you can be touched and cried. That’s why people couldn’t stop reading one series, but always want to continue the next.

The language that the author uses in this manga is quiet simple. Although, it uses many pure Japanese Words, it’s still easy to understand. There are also many meaningful quotes saying by the characters that make the conversation in the story very meaty.

Another point is you can find all of human character gathered here, from the kind, lazy, struggle, fighter, hopeless, until the crazy characters. You can learn how the problem is being faced by different ways and finally, different solutions. Mr. Takei give the story with there is not any evil shaman. So, no people doing wrong! It’s difficult to conclude who’re the good characters and the bad one. But, that’s make the story more interesting!

What I really disappointed is about the ending. They were still in the midst of a gauntlet fighting against the guardians of Shaman Fight winner, Yoh and his friends are forced to stop what they were doing and instead "take a break", allowing them to sleep in the middle of battle then, it’s ended! Totally hanged! Or many people called it a “controversial ending”. I have no idea why the author chose that un-understand-able ending. Manga usually leave you with a well thought of ending, but shaman king were like losing interest towards the end.

Shaman King ( After reading The KangZengBang )

If you read my post before this, you will know i wrote about fan's dissapointment about the ending. Seems like Mr. Takei had realized it too from the first time he made it. Therefore, he made another sequel titled "Shaman King KangZengBang"

I have no idea why they were published in different sequel and even given different title, but the story was exactly continue-ing from the last hanging-ending chapter 32 of Shaman King Series.

But, that's doesn't matter... =3

because the ending was going so much much better now..

i don't say it's really over here, but it's enough (at least for me) to closing this sequel with a memorable chapter.

so, since it was about the ending, i won't write more,

but i will show you some amazing part of this very last chapter..

Sebelum kita membicarakan tentang sumber inovasi, tentunya kita harus tahu terlebih dahulu apakah inovasi itu. Kata “inovasi” diadaptasi dari Bahasa Inggris “innovate” yang berarti memperkenalkan sesuatu yang baru, baik berupa suatu produk (barang/jasa), ide, maupun cara melakukan sesuatu yang bermanfaat dalam kehidupan.

Inovasi sangat identik dengan dunia usaha atau bisnis, walaupun sebenarnya inovasi dapat diterapkan dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan, salah satunya adalah praktek kedokteran gigi. Inovasi diperlukan supaya kita dapat “tampil beda” dan mendapat perhatian lebih dari masyarakat. Banyak orang yang telah sukses karena inovasi – inovasinya. Namun, tidak sedikit orang yang usahanya ‘jalan di tempat’ karena sulit sekali memunculkan inovasi di tengah iklim usaha yang begerak pesat. Mengapa hal itu bisa terjadi? Apakah karena orang itu tidak dapat menemukan sumber inovasi?

Kesimpulannya, sumber inovasi sebenarnya tidak terikat, harus dari sini atau dari situ, tidak terbatas, bisa apapun, bisa ditemukan di mana pun, kapanpun, dalam keadaan bagaimanapun. Namun, yang menciptakan sumber inovasi itu adalah pemikiran kita sendiri. Jika Issac Newton berpikir bahwa apel yang jatuh itu hanyalah sebuah apel, makan tidak akan ada bukum gravitasi, dan apel akan tetap menjadi apel hingga membusuk. Ramesh menjelaskan- nya dalam kisah ilustrasi yang sangat indah ini.




"Suatu saat, hidup seorang yang sangat dipenuhi oleh roh kasih dalam
hidupnya. Ketika ia meninggal, semua orang mengira bahwa manusia sepertinya pasti langsung masuk ke Surga.


Tetapi karena sesuatu dan lain hal, malaikat di Surga berbuat kesalahan. Ia kelewatan nama orang itu dan berpikir karena orang tersebut tidak terdaftar di Surga, tempatnya adalah di 'tempat satunya lagi' dan ia langsung mengirimnya ke Neraka!


Dan di Neraka, tidak ada yang men-cek reservasi anda.
Semua yang dibuang di sana adalah penghuni abadi.
Jadi begitulah, orang tersebut tinggal tanpa membantah karena ia berpikir mungkin dia belum layak untuk tinggal di surga.

'Ada apa?', tanya malaikat Surga.

Dan Ramesh menutup ceritanya dengan berkata,

Akhirnya muncul lagi posting-an baru di blog ini...

Yang pertama kali harus saya ucapkan adalah permohonan maaf pada semua pembaca untuk ke-vakum-an blog ini beberapa bulan terakhir. Mohon hal ini dimaklumi karena memiliki alasan - alasan yang sangat patut untuk dipertimbangkan, diingat, dan ditinjau ulang. Berikut adalah alasan - alasan yang dimaksud beserta penjelasan secukupnya :

1. Ga ada koneksi internet di kos-an

Yup,kalo hari - hari produktif di jogja, rasanya udah serasa hidup di pedalaman. Jarang banget yang bersentuhan sama yang namanya chat, facebook, apalagi sempet - sempetnya nge-blog...

2. Persiapan UAS Januari lalu

UAS nya emang Januari, tapi ngos-ngosannya udah dari November. Dosen - dosen pad ngejar materi, tugas ini, tugas itu, presentasi ini, presentasi itu, makalah ini, makalah itu, dsb...

3. Habis UAS ?? Balas dendam!!

Begitu selesai UAS..,langsung deh, kumat semua! Tidur seharian, dolan seharian, dan yang paling parah : nge-game seharian. Apalagi akhir - akhir ini lagi kecanduan sama game - game baru yang bikin lupa kalo aku punya blog yang harus diurus...

So,

kesimpulannya, 

Teman - teman yang mau bikin blog..,janganlah mencontoh saya..!?
