the thing i would never get used to

is being away from home sweet home.

It's been three years since i have been staying in another city for study. Though it's just an hour and half to get back to home and i almost do that every weekend, but yeah, i got that homesickness too.

Well now days, it's not like the homesick in early years when i shed tears each time the train i taken leave my hometown. But when it comes to Friday that i will be home soon, days was suddenly getting brighter, time was flying faster, and everything seems very right.

I prefer say it 'back home rush', than homesickness. And that's quiet normal, because i guess it's happening to every single person who's being away and finally had a chance to meet someone they loved or cared. Like Family.

Just in my case, that chances comes more oftentimes... :-)

Apathy

Talking about that word, first thing crossed my mind is Wang Yue. He is the 2 years old child that hit by two cars while eleven near passerby-s just apathetically walk away without even helping her. Very ironic yes.

Is apathy a result of modernization of this world? Has our people lost the humanity more day by day or it's just Chinese moral like many said?

I'm not a racist and i completely disagree with the last one.

Apathy, is not reasonless. Let me tell you a story from my day.

We studied in dentistry faculty which, everyone know, a lot of money will be spent. There's a work using the gyps. A friend of mine had just brought a plastic bag of gyps. Another friend ask her if she had any gyps left instead of buying a plastic by herself, the she gave some. And then another friend who knew it asked too, and another and another and another until when she was going to use it again, she found that the plastic had emptied.

That's not happened once or twice. Moreover, it's a common situation in my faculty. Another friend of mine even ever said,"When you bought a materials and brought it to the laboratory class, you have to ready to loose it all, though the instruction said you just need to use a little."

Well then, some student (including me) sometimes decide to "not saying out loud" (or 'hide' =D) when we have material stock during the class. Even if we knew someone need it. Apathy. But if you don't do that, yeah you has a pure gold heart, and you will run out your monthly transfered money before half of the month.

What am i saying here is, human is born as social creature. And every human does. So, how the apathy come? You probably have guess the answer : society.
Uncared environment, autocratic rules and policy, hardness of economic, how we treated by them, that will build our character. Our apathy rate.

The question comes always the same. If i were one of the passerby in Wang Yue accident, will i help her? Easy to answer by words. But when the real situation comes, will we be the good Samaritan?

The Royal Wedding

Yogyakarta also has its Royal Wedding...

Yogyakarta's Palace, Keraton Kasultanan, had just held a wedding of the Sultan's (the King) younger daughter, Gusti Kanjeng Ratu Bendara with Kanjeng Pangeran Haryo Yudanegara. The ceremony started from 16 till 18 October 2011, but what's special was at the 18.

It called "Pesta Rakyat", literally means Party for the Citizen in Yogyakarta. And there were about 200 FREE food stand (we call it "angkringan") along the Malioboro street for us to enjoy while the bride and groom did the parade in the street.

At first i thought the Sultan reserved and paid all the food stand owner for the citizen to enjoy. But later i knew that it was the sellers own willingness to give the food for free as an offering for the wedding celebration.

And that gave me an impression like,"Whoooaaa, people in Yogyakarta are unbelievably kind-hearted!!"

Suddenly, i felt very lucky having a chance to live among them.

Then, the second special thing is The Rain.

I'm not a believer, but it's not weird when almost all the city around Yogya had started to rain and Yogya still as hot as ever (my temperature often get 40 degree of Celcius at noonday). I ensured my friend, who isn't a believer either, if the rain was falling down a day after the wedding, they really declined the rain for the parade.

And IT WAS. Sudden strange rain in the middle of day at 19 October. 

What a superpower...

There it is, a little story from Yogyakarta's Royal Wedding, what might not happen in another royal wedding... Congratulation for the couple and Happy Raining day for all the citizen in Yogya!! :)

This is what i had been doing last several days :

When Need Boyfriend???

That's question come to me after some dicussion with my friends...
When the girls gathered, two things that will come up to the conversation are (1)gossip and (2)boys.

So, this is a story of my friend that finally trying to get close with someone after being single (read : jomblo) for about twenty years (yea man, TWENTY YEARS). And tell you the truth, maybe a high school student will handle it very much better...
She's jumping around when she got text from him.
She's acting hysterically just seeing him passing by in the campus.
She's screaming to us when he tagging her in facebook status.
etc, etc...
Isn't it to much?

Maybe you find that funny, but for a girl that never had a realtionship before, it's...not really, but yeah, normal. Even if you are 20 or above.

If you remember your first relationship again, maybe it's about like that, it's just happened in younger age so it's perfectly normal.

But, if that was happening in university age, you can say it's kinda silly because it's already an era where you spoke love directly in front of the person that you like and making serious commitment for the real future.

So, we do need boyfriend at least in high school. That's my assumptions (for some people).
Then we won't be in too much euphoria when someone told that he loves you (finger crossed) and won't be too desperate if it doesn't work like the fairy tale that we always dreamt
because..., you've been through this once before, haven't you? So, it's always become eeeeasier for the next.

And the bad news is, i also haven't had one...

February Surprises

Why always kinda late to write a post?? It's not that late this time! Well yes, the surprises happened in February, but i'd just recognized the one few days ago...

What's it all about?

It's not about the real life. The surprises is about my INTERNET LIFE, haha.

First,

Our video had become  the "Video Of The Day" in Chitato Video Contest *smile*

I made this video with one of my friend and my friend's boyfriend. Though we expected the prize, it's just totally for fun. You can check this out here. The winner at 8 February  =)

Second,

I was in the SHORT LIST of the last Contest Entry "Raasta Dress" in looklet.com *big smile*

Short List is the 20 choosen nominates from all entry to fight for the winner. It's been a while since i'm in looklet and no sign of me being capable in design world. But this changed my mind (although, i don't know what's going on next, did i win or not?? But that's doesn't matter, haha.)

My House is Getting Crowded

About a month ago, a white furry newcomer entered my house. Based on my search in internet, it's a Pomeranian, mini white cream pomeranian. My father's friend give it to us. I was honored to give its named Wookie =D (yes, another Wookie from Super Junior).

This little fella surely bring it's own new color to brighten our days. I'll show you another cute poses :

Then,

two days ago, my Fox-terrier and  Rottweiler had given birth a seven cute babies, but one didn't survive.

Nowdays our house is crowded by the sound of dog barking and puppies crying (seems like the older residents can't accept the newcomer yet).

But, it's totally FUN !!

Seeing a new life starts in this world..,ah, i will never get bored of it. =)

So, do you want a puppy?

Final Fantasy I Dawn of Souls Little Guide

This is my first time playing Final Fantasy and I had just finished the Final Fantasy (don't laugh) ONE. Everything should start from the beginning, right?
And, I didn't expect to find so much FaQ and Walkthrough about this game in the net, and yeah, they helped me a lot in finishing it. So, when i did finish the game i thought 'Hey, i should make mine!'
So, this is not a FaQ or Walkthrough, just a little guide. I just give the straight steps to finish the game. Sorry i can't write more about monsters, bosses, equipment, magic, and etc. I'm sure there are many walkthrough that note them better (and i'm too lazy to write thats :D...). But, very thanks if you still want to use this =). Well, let's begin!

Don't walk if you do not know where to step in next...

So, i will give you this first map

First thing first.., you will find your selves in the Castle of Cornelia. Go talk to the King. Your task is simple,

1. Rescue Princess Sarah.

    She could found in Chaos Shrine kidnapped by Garland. Just go north from the castle and you will find Chaos Shrine.

After Rescue Princess Sarah, she will give you a Lute the King will build the bridge to a new place, bigger world !!

and then, your next mission is

2. Go to Provoka, and defeat the pirates to obtain a ship.

    With the ship, you can travel to more places in this world and meeting others people. 

NOTE (very important !!!) :

After this part i made this guide for who is already depressed enough after playing days or even months with no progress. So, if it is your first time, i suggest you to enjoy your journey first.. while gathering level, gil, and clues. i believe you want to finish the game with your own capability, don't you? So, if you don't want to just follow what's written here and losing the fascinating part of the game, you may stop here. But, if you insist..,you may scrolling down...

3. Go to Marsh Cave and get the crown

    The crown is hidden in one of the chest in the lowest ground of Marsh Cave (B3). Before you enter the Marsh Cave, you better equipped your self with lot of  potion and antidote. Trust me, they are very needed here.

4. After obtain the crown, bring it to Astos, who stay in the Western Keep

    After you give the crown, the king will revealed himself as Astos, and you will fight againts him. After defeated him, you will obtain a Crystal Ball.

5. Bring back the Crystal Ball to Matoya, a witch who lives in Chaos Shrine

    In return, she will give you potion, called Jolt Tonic.

6. Give the potion to the healer of elf price in the Elven Castle

    Then, the prince will give you mystic key.

7. Go back to Cornelia Castle ( we're home ^^ !!), use the mystic key to open treasure house.

    Treasure house is in the back of the first floor of Cornelia Castle. They are many chest there, one of them contain a nitro powder.

8. Give the nitro powder to Nerrick, a dwarf in the Mount Duergar.

    Lets Nerrick do the rest of this part. And suddenly, you will get a new way to the bigger world part two.

WHAT? BIGGER WORLD? MORE MONSTER? MORE PEOPLE? MORE MYSTERY? MORE CLUES? MORE HEADACHE... MORE...MORE....

9. Go to Melmond

    Nothing to do here, just equip your team with better weapon and armor and learn stronger spell. Then.

10.Go to Cavern of Earth
     Defeat the vampire at B3, obtain crystal ruby. (easy huh?)

note : do not waste your MP, the vampire is immune to any spell.

11.Go to Giant Cave
     Give the giant rock the star ruby (damn.,he ate it! IT'S A RUBY!!) They're some treasure on the south, simply pick it and ... if you notice, the way out is different from your the way in before.

12. Of course, the way out only lead to one place : The Sage's Cave
      Talk to Sadda and he will give you earth rod and tell you to go back to cavern of earth and defeat the real boss (WHAAAT ??). Let's do it !!

this is our first fiend who have a crystal  : LICH
13. Go back to the last ground of cavern of earth,you could break the rock and make a new way to a more
floor down there. The boss is in the b5 floor. Meet him, and defeated him! 

     Easy to say...
note : some source say that Lich was weak with fire and harm, and they suggest you to use diara and firaga (beside the direct attack of course)
but, i don't have any diara and firaga
and i WON !! :))
i guess one spell that make me won is : LUCK
hahahhahahaha...

after this, maybe the hardest part of this game (at least for me) because i was really lack of clues..
you can travel back to one town and another while all people repeated saying the same thing..., "restore the crystal to grace..."

bahh!! at least, GIMME CLUES !!

okay,

enough for the desperate outpouring,

back to the game !

your next task is

14. Go to Crescent Lake (see the map)

      Got it? Yup, the town is really surrounded by a crescent-lake. 

Go to the back of magic shop, cross the brigde to the east, in the middle of forest you will find 12 sages marching. The one with the only different clothes is lukhan, who brings the prophercy about us
(i thought he already dead =/). Talk to the sage on the right side of lukhan, and he will obtain you...
A CANOE.. (dangggg..,i'm hoping an airship....)

p.S : If you're talking to the sages, you will find out more than a clue. They are really helpful ^^.

next,

15. Go to Mount Gulg 
      Here is our sencond fiend : MARILITH

Ouch, that hot!! Yes, everytime you step on the lava, it hurts you. So, keep up a lot lot of potion. Moreover, USE THE MAP !! This cavern is like a maze, so don't waste your HP to the wrong path.

Some items that will help you in this level are Ice Brand and Flame Shield in B4F-B. Then, meet the boss in B5F.

note : besides all that crappy cavern, the fiend easier than the first one and doesn't need a special strategy. And, it's a SHE !!

After that?

16. Go to Cavern of Ice

      Take a deep breath. We're not facing any fiend here :).

Remember the airship? Yeah, we will get it very soon *big big smile*. First you should defeat the Evil Eye first to get the LEVISTONE.

note : be careful with the floor mark X. It will make you fall to another fall. If that's really happen, again, use the map!

17.Go to the dessert in the south of Cresent Lake and throw the Levistone

     Taraaaaaaaa... you obtain an airship.

Since you have the airship, you free to go to any place in this world randomly and don't have to follow my order. But if you still want to use this guide, next i will go to

18.Citadel of Trial

     What we gonna do here is changing job. But, if you're confident enough for continuing the journey with 'what you now', skip 18 and 19.

But if you want to do this step, i tell you, i just so easy. First, give the crown to the elder and you will enter the trial zone. Just simply follow the map. The tricky one is only the second floor. Well, i will give you clue here...

The rest..,just as easy as the boss... And you will obtain : Rat's Tail (rat's tail can change the job?) Be patient until you go to the

19. Dragon Cave

      There are many caves right? Feel free to explore one by one, but our destination is the north-est one, the island with forest and two holes, enter the right one. Speak to Bahamut, the Dragon King in the second floor (it's a really long way =,=...), give the Rat's Tail, and (drum roll................) you got the second job :)

Warrior        -> Knight

Thief            -> Ninja

White Mage -> White Wizard

Black Mage  -> Black Wizard

Red Mage    -> Red Wizard

Monk           -> Master

Looks cool? Okay, enough for admiring your new costumes, get a better equipment and spell, then les't move!

20. Go to Caravan and Buy the Fearie

      See the map, you will find The Caravan. Go inside the tent, buy Bottled Fearie from...,emmm..,that dessert man for 50,000. Prepare the gil!

21. Go to Gaia

      The Fearie will run away, let her go ...

Go to the very very north, the turn east after you find the church. Just follow the path until you find THE SPRING. The Fearie will great you there and give you Oxyale.

22. Go to Onrac

      First thing to do : Heal! Yes, we will meet our third fiend very soon. Go south, cross the bridge, turn east, cross the bridge and then, talk to the mermaid and... that's not important. Now, get in the Barrel and let's diving to the bottom of the sea : Shrunken Shrine.

There are two task for you here :

     22.1. Defeat the third fiend : KRAKEN in the lowest floor.

     Man, really, i'm telling you the truth, it's just toooo easy. I didn't feel like i was defeating one of the fiend there. It just like a regular boss, a very weak regular boss.

note : some sources again says that this monster is weak with Thundaga. But again, i just used the physical attack to defeat him. And heal spell of course :)

     22.2. Take the Rosetta Stone (yeah, i mark it red, because i DID forget to take it before) upstairs in 5F. It's in the one of the chest (i won't tell you which one this time, because i think it's worth it to take another treasure ^^).

23. To Waterfall Cavern

      Use the canoe to enter something like...ummm, waterfall. The main item you have to pick is : WARP CUBE, but others treasures are worth it. It's just as easy as Shrunken Shrine, even more easy, just need a long long way. Again and again : use the map!

24. Go to Melmond

      Go north, cross the bridge. Talk to the Man who is walking around the graveyard. Give him the Rosetta Stone, and he will teach you Lufenian language (and you will understand it in 1 minutes, well, i am studying English for years =/ ). Next :

25. Go to Lufenia

      The problem that came immediately is : Where to Land The Ship?? Are you have the same problem? Here is the answer :

Pretty far? INDEED!

Then, talk to the man in the right corner, he will give you a CHIME. If it's difficult for you to find which man, just talk to them one by one =D...

Our task is done. But..., don't leave Lufenian without walking around. Can't find anything interesting? See the map! You will see the very well hidden Magic Shop. And you can learn the most powerful white and black magic here : FLARE and FULL-LIFE.

note : Red Wizard can't learn them!!

I told you before that i prefer Red Mage at the beginning because i thought it will like two in one packet. But, I CAN'T LEARN THAT SPELLS AT ALL... (*crying out loud)

Yes, i was very desperate at that time till i start another adventure with White Mage and Black Mage. Yet, i finished the game with my first team (with the Red Mage =)..)

So, the important lesson here is : You Are Stronger Than You Think!

Our journey continued :

26. To The Mirage Tower

      The Fourth Fiend? Not yet. Just go up to the highest floor and defeat the dragon. Stand in the middle of four pillars and press the button, you will warp to the : Flying Fortress.

Yes, you will fight the last fiend here : TIAMAT.

 note : honestly, i am kinda forget what happened in my battle =/ but i think i would have just using an ordinary physical attack and some defend magic. But, according to the Bestiary, it's weakness is Stone and Poison.

Other than the fiend, what must obtained thing here is : THE ADAMANTITE in the 2F. It will become a basic material to make the Most Powerful weapon : Excalibur. How to make it? Go to the Mount Duergar (yes, numb.8), talk to Smyth, he is in the left corner room. He will make you an Excalibur.

Then,

We had defeated the four fiend, got the four crystal. Shouldn't it be The End?

Not so fast, we still have something to do :

27. Go To The Chaos Shrine (YES, back to number 1)

      Talk to the Black Crystal. You will get warp to... Chaos Shrine, in the past ( i don't get it for the first time, we're traveling time!).

Our last battle hold in here. First, go up to 3F and defeat the Death Eye (in 1F, take the stairs in the southeastern corner, other stairs lead you nowhere, in 2F take the stairs in front of you.). After defeat Death Eye, stand in the middle of pillars and play the Lute (do you remember where did you obtain it?), there will be another stairs.

Use the stairs, that you haven't through. If you take the right step, it will lead you back to 1F and then to B1. After this, is the difficult part. Go down to B5, and you will meet every fiend you have defeated before in every floor. But don't worry, you've grown stronger, haven't you?

Then, enter the main room in B5, but before, heal to max! Yep, let's meet the very boss:

CHAOS (Hp : 20.000)

But, don't be pessimistic. I tell you, i could defeat him in the second try with two man down (without Flare and Full-Life, NOTE IT!). I defeated Lich in the third try, so, what's the conclusion?

note : I use the combination of Giant Gloves and Haste on my Warrior. When my Red Wizard down, i shift my Thief job to a healer only with High-Potion and X-POTION (X-Potion helped the most).

So,

that's it. Then it should be game clear!
